Less than two weeks from now it is Saskatchewan’s oldest and hilliest marathon, the Saskatchewan Marathon Presented by PotashCorp and the Saskatoon Road Runners.  A real challenge for any runner.  A lot of work goes into putting on such a big event and if you aren’t running we hope you can spare some time to volunteer.  Help is always appreciated.  You can register to volunteer at www.saskmarathon.ca .  If you are running we hope your training has gone well.  If by any chance you’ve run some Yasso 800’s in your training then you really might want to attend the pasta dinner the night before and hear Bart Yasso, the keynote speaker.  This guy is a legend in running circles and we don’t get the chance to hear running legends in Saskatoon very often.

APRIL 04, 2012 (SASKATOON) – A sneak peak of Saskatoon-made webseries "MY LUPINE LIFE" BY LOUIS PINE will debut worldwide online at sethonsurvival.com SATURDAY APRIL 07 starting at 13:00 to coincide with the Los Angeles WebFest debut.

For a limited time, three episodes of the Saskatoon-made web series "MY LUPINE LIFE" BY LOUIS PINE will be available at sethonsurvival.com for simultaneous viewing with the audience and jury in Los Angeles at LA WEBFEST.

"MY LUPINE LIFE" BY LOUIS PINE is a 13 episode online series starring ARON TOMORI as Louis Pine, a high school boy convinced that he is a werewolf on his dad's side. Young Vancouver actress JULIA SARAH STONE also stars as Sydney the vampire-next-door. Louis' best friend Mauricio who thinks that his friend is going crazy is played by emerging SASKATOON talent, NOLAN MOBERLY.

"MY LUPINE LIFE" BY LOUIS PINE  is a companion series to SETH ON SURVIVAL a popular series, website and iOS game that reached the one million mark last month. "MY LUPINE LIFE" BY LOUIS PINE  is a composite story inspired by the tens of thousands of comments and letters sent to Seth from kids around the world.

"We want to share this exciting LA debut with all the hard-working cast and crew from Saskatoon, along with the wider community who provided so much support for our production." said SK director Torin Stefanson.

The production was funded through the INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION FUND, SASKFILM, investment by the PRODUCERS and the SASKATCHEWAN FILM EMPLOYMENT TAX CREDIT.
