This is Rodger and Dennis, together we will be writing this blog on our insights on men’s fashion today.  We will be discussing quality fabrics, fit, how to dress for work or for a date and the experiences that we have in a day’s work.  Every week we will update you with a new piece of information to help you keep in touch with what a man needs to know.

Excellent question in regards to color. As men we follow the same guideline not wearing white between labour day Victoria day. You may see men sporting white shoes and or a white belt. This is not good in the winter and it works better in the summer. There are many different understandings of co-ordinating socks with trousers. We recommend, at The Dresser, pairing socks to get as close as possible to the color of the trouser. For example blue socks with blue trousers. If you think of pairing colors instead of trying to match it becomes less complicated. At The Dresser it is our philosophy that a suit should have a minimum of five shirts and five ties so that you can change out that suit. This allows for you to have more choice if you have a minimum of two or three suits in your closet. If you are wearing suits as part of your daily job you should have a minimum of six to eight suits and a minimum of two event suits for weddings, anniversaries funerals. For weekends and casual days a minimum of three casual jackets to pair with trousers and jeans. It brings the level of what you are wearing up. It is better to surpass the level of expectation at an event as opposed to being underdressed. We invite you as a reader to post your questions and between Dennis and Rodger we will help answer your questions. In the words of Barney Stinson Suit Up!!!

Guys I'm curious are there right and wrong colors to wear. I have heard others say that about things like "no white after labor day" does the same thing apply to men.
after all most of us guy only have one or two suits. brown and blue
Further what color socks should a fella wear are there and guidelines.
